Running an SEO agency is hard. You have to manage clients, strategy, and technical SEO. But the most time-consuming part?
Manual Outreach.
Many agency owners try to do everything themselves, but eventually, they hit a burnout wall. That’s where outsourcing comes in. But how do you outsource without getting low-quality, spammy links?
Here is the checklist you need to follow:
1. Check Traffic, Not Just DR Domain Rating (DR) can be manipulated. Always ask your vendor for traffic screenshots from Ahrefs or Semrush. If a site has DR 60 but 0 organic traffic, it’s a red flag.
2. Look for "Write For Us" Pages If a site has a giant "Write For Us" button on the homepage and thousands of irrelevant articles (Casino, CBD, Crypto), avoid it. These are "Link Farms" and Google will penalize them eventually.
3. Demand White-Label Reporting Your client shouldn't know you outsourced the work. Ensure your vendor provides clean, unbranded Excel reports that you can simply forward to your client.
At The Live Rank, we solve this for you. We handle the vetting, negotiation, and content creation so you can focus on scaling your agency.
